    Xbox series X ping keeps rising?


    Can someone help me solve my high ping issue on Xbox series X. About a week ago my ping was normal, well normal for my area/internet provider around 30-40. Now it's 100 and nothing I do makes it go down. Talked to my internet provider and they have made no changes. I am connected via a Ethernet cable as I have always been, when I test my other devices phones, and computers they around a 5-10 latency. My internet is extremely good fiber optic with an average download of 700-900 mb and upload of 100-150 mb. I have tried different ports and dns selections and the best improvement I have seen is 85 latency. Please someone make it make sense?

    I understand you need help on your Xbox ping problem.

    You might want to check on this link from the support website for some steps you can do for this issue:

    I would also adviser to reset the console doing this:

    NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

    No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Select System.

    4. Select Console info

    5. Select Reset console.

    6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

    Anyone having issue connecting to a match on warzone 2 have tried everything just keeps searching for match?

    Yes have tried mobile hotspot just goes up to 195ms ping and keeps searching it can only be a xbox issue as have no problem with any other console or pc it won't work on xbox one s or my xbox series x

    I would agree with what Farscape said regarding the Xbox ping display...on both my PC and my Xboxes (Series X and One X(, it reports my ping as around 180...yet, checking with speed tests via browser shows it is less than 50.

    horizontal is best, because heat rises. Vertical with the series X is best for this reason

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
