    I have an Xbox Series X that randomly kicks me out of Destiny 2 (while in the game) and back to the home screen for unknown reasons. I'm not getting any Destiny 2 server error messages or anything, just a sudden black screen for a brief second, followed by the Xbox home screen. I'm able to go back into Destiny right away, but I have to go through the game loading process all over again. I mainly play Destiny 2, so I'm not sure if it's a Destiny issue or an Xbox issue... it's very random and kinda rare but still annoying. It has happened maybe 3 or 4 times the past few months! Anyone else is having these issues, and any clues on how to fix this?

    It's hard to say which has the problem if we could not isolate it by testing out different games.

    Just make sure that your console is up-to-date and also check for your game updates.

    Thanks for the reply! I thought about trying different games, but the amount of time I would most likely be devoting to something so specific, random and rare would be a headache. I'm also all up to date on my xbox and destiny...

    Alternatively, try to connect with a different network as well to further isolate the issue whether it’s a network-related issue. The last resort we can do is to reinstall your game.

    It is a software and game developer issue though like AC Valhalla was stuttering like crazy at launch on the Xbox Series X for example. Something really only Xbox and game developers may fix.
