    Xbox series x only plays certain discs


    Has anyone ever found a solution to their series x not reading discs? I went to go play resident evil 2 bc of the update and put in the disc and nothing happens. It's like the Xbox doesn't know it has a disc in it but then when I tried MLB the show 22 that launched right away. I went through all the steps with an agent over the phone and she suggested it might have to do with my NAT type. But my mind is blown as I have over 20 physical copies that when I insert them they do nothing but I have 6 physical copies that work. Please someone help

    If on another console the disc will work it may mean that we need to get the console repaired because the issue is happening with multiple disc games.

    Not right at this moment. I am waiting to get my Xbox one x back (had issues powering on)

    I know these discs are not damaged or scratched they have been well taken care of and for example Microsoft flight sim launched via the disc I own last week successfully and today I put it in and nothing happens no errors nothing.

    We need to isolate the issue, do you have another console where you can insert these discs to check if the other console will read them?

    So I don't know if this means anything but I got Wolfenstein the new order to load up before and now when I put in the disc it does nothing still.
