    Xbox Series X Only playing certain games


    I've had this problem since I bought the Series X. Xbox and game creators have me running around in circles and not helping or fixing the problems. I can play Destiny 2, Battlefield 1, Star Wars Fallen Order but whenever I try to play Halo Infinite, Marvel Avengers and other newer games the screen freezes and I go back to my home screen. Sometimes it even shuts my Xbox down. I've gone through all the Xbox troubleshooting procedures and sent videos to the game manufacturers and no one is helping. Whenever I go back to Xbox on something I have to start all over again and I'm getting no where. It took me a year to get this Xbox and I'm very disappointed with it and Xbox customer support. I'm out over $1000.00 for the Xbox and the games I can't play. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix?

    Most likely yes but the xbox one wont be future proof aka wont be able to play certain games in the future the xbox one x will be it will eventually turn into an older console but still will be able to play the game the series x can

    If on another console the disc will work it may mean that we need to get the console repaired because the issue is happening with multiple disc games.

    Not right at this moment. I am waiting to get my Xbox one x back (had issues powering on)

    I know these discs are not damaged or scratched they have been well taken care of and for example Microsoft flight sim launched via the disc I own last week successfully and today I put it in and nothing happens no errors nothing.

    We need to isolate the issue, do you have another console where you can insert these discs to check if the other console will read them?
