    Xbox Series X on ‘Preview Omega’ beta is no longer reading 4K UHD Blu-ray; has anyone else...


    My Xbox played 4K-BR seamlessly before April 2024, but as of May 2024, my Xbox Series X has stopped reading all 4K UHD Blu-ray discs (BD50, BD66, BD100) - whilst all other formats (DVD, Blu-ray film/game, CD) all work seamlessly/instantly.

    I have tried soft resetting, clearing BD Persistent Storage x3, removing/adding account, cleaning Xbox/discs and all recommended advice from Xbox/Microsoft.

    I cannot figure out if the culprit is the latest Preview Omega patch, or something to do with compatibility or something else as the Optic disc drive functions perfectly with all formats other than 4K-BR

    Has anybody else encountered this issue, or something similar?
