    Xbox Series X offline issues:


    I've been playing offline for around 2 weeks now due to internet issues and I've been running into the following:

    The Series X seems to be unable to play games that I have installed, and the disc for if I hadn't played it while connected to online. It gives the old "Wait for this game to finish installing" garbage when i know full well the game is installed all the
    way.

    Another thing I've noticed, it will give a pop up about syncing and "there may be a service outage" repeatedly through a session.

    I'm assuming the former is some contrived form of drm?

    Anyone have any ways to combat this?

    Are you offline? Is the Series X your home Xbox?
    No my Xbox series x is online and on the same network as my Xbox one and my Xbox series x is set as my home Xbox

    Cannot finish installation of Xbox One discs in "Offline" Mode

    If I understood well, are you not able to install disc based games on both Xbox One console and Series X when you're offline?
    Or is this happening with only one of the two consoles?
    The issue is happening on both consoles - the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It only seems to happen with Xbox One discs. I have no issue installing Xbox 360 discs or Digital games.

    And, is this happening when you're offline?
    The issue with the Xbox One discs failing their installation at a certain percentage happens both online and offline. However, I discovered a workaround for the issue for when I am connected Online (searching for the game on the Store to initiate the download, as opposed to visiting My Games and Apps). However, I am now trying to find a solution that would allow me to install these discs while in Offline mode specifically, as the workaround doesn't work while Offline.

    Hi I've tried reset options on my xbox one s and one x it worked but xbox series consoles do not work so i tried offline system update on series x it's worked only for one day i earn achievements in Forza Horizon 5 hot wheels dlc but in the next day it didn't worked no notification or sound anything,so i tried my friend xbox series x this same problem happening looks like it's a Microsoft side issue.

    I’m stuck on appear offline. Nothing I do helps. Anyone else?

    I’m gonna add that on two different consoles (series x and one x) all profiles on both consoles are stuck on appear offline and can not be switched to appear online. Again this is a regular thing I do (appear offline) and it NEVER has been an issue until now. What is the deal. Really frustrating and frankly a pretty stupid **** problem from Xbox. I’m sure there will be tons of stupid “well don’t appear offline” or things of that nature cause… it’s the internet but still…. Xbox help!!
