Hey Houl. So your console is shutting down whenever you put a disc in the tray? I would suggest you start by checking out our

Xbox 360 console turns off unexpectedly
support article. It could be that your console is getting too hot, or even a power supply issue. Run through the troubleshooting steps in that article, and let us know if you have any questions. Cheers!

Series x randomly shuting off and on

    Hi there,

it could indeed be a hardware related issues, but to be sure I would suggest trying a factory reset on the console, to see if that helps anything. Also if you have any external storage devices connected be sure to disconnect those.

If a factory reset doesn't help then I also suggest setting up a repair request.

Side note: In regards to the fans, you mentioned one is behind the console, I personally would leave ventilation up to the console itself, it's designed in a specific way and a fan close to the console might disrupt the intended airflow

Series x randomly shuting off and on

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

I'm afraid that is a hardware issue and the console will need to be repaired. You can see details on how to request a service repair here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne....

    Hope this helps.
