    Xbox series x no game sound


    Xbox series x stopped sending audio to headset both wired and wireless.

    i can hear chat and other people can hear me. No game audio or xbox sounds come through the headset.

    i have tried different controller, different headset and double checked all settings. Even reset xbox to factory except for i didnt erase games.

    no sound on any game.

    controller also says no update available.

    any help would be appreciated

    I have been thinking the same here. The xbox series X sound amazing and i am looking forward to it. but i have the Xbox one s at the minute And think I should get the Xbox X Soon or wait fot the series x.

    That's not right at all. My Series X is almost silent, running Series X games or Xbox One games.

    If it sounds that loud either there is a hardware fault or the consoles' location is not ideal.

    While it's true that some games will make the system hotter, it should not sound like a hoover, even my high end gaming PC (self built) doesn't get that loud and it can reach 84C.

    It sounds like you have a One S then. That game is available for the Series S/X, but not the One.
