    Xbox Series X Multiple Issues


    I bought a series X on day one. After a lot of use and speaking to others I thought I would ask around. Is the series X a poor console with lots of continuing issues or is mine perhaps faulty?

    Some of the reoccurring issues are:

    Games crash regularly.

    Quick resume makes the game freeze, requiring a console restart.

    Console shuts down on its own whilst playing a game.

    Disk tray doesn't always recognise games.

    Sometimes a flickering screen when using 4K.

    My Xbox One is a day one edition still work and continues to work far better than my series X.

    Trying to get in touch with Xbox Support is absolutely awful and a painful procedure so if these are known issues there would be no point.

    Is anyone else experiencing these problems? Or is it just perhaps a faulty console?

    I have exactly the same issue today with the Xbox Series X but not the S.

    "issue with flickering pixels that only happen on the menus of the console, but not in game"

    tried multiple displays and multiples HDMI cable.

    Do you have any news update?

    Xbox Series X losing Controller Connection

    Thank you for this; the issue is that the pair button on the Series X does not work most of the time. It just does not start the pairing process; I have multiple older Xboxs including the Xbox One X and the Xbox One Elite and neither had an issue pairing
    the Elite 2.
