Xbox Series X multiplayer with Xbox one

So I have a question about Xbox Series X multiplayer. So I know that they already said that series X can play with xbox one but they also said that not all games are compatible. So my main question is if I have a game on xbox one that has online multiplayer
and I can play with my friends, then if I play the same game on series x will I still be able to play with my friends on xbox one since series x has basically full backwards compatibility with xbox one.

Yes, some multiplayer games on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S can cross play with the PS5.

No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

There is no x or one requirement for Xbox one games. Xbox one x has more power that's it

Series consoles have more powrr in spades from xbox one

And there is no xbox one series x

Hello there,

every Xbox 360 and or Xbox one game you can play via backwards compatibility on your series X/S share the same multiplayer network, so yes you can play those games with your friends across different generations of Xbox. However for future games releasing
on Xbox one and series X/S separately, I can't confirm that it will work a 100%.

Are you seeing "FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S"?

It's the edition or bundle that includes both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

If this is the standard edition it will say if it's Xbox One or Xbox Series X game. The Xbox One version though is playable on Xbox Series X as well.
