  1. Xbox series x - mouse sensitivity suddenly changed

Use mouse & keyboard on xbox series x.

On the last few days (maybe one week ago) my mouse acceleration/dpi/sensetivity randomly changed and become faster&wird.

    Way more speed.

My mouse is on the same dpi & settings.

Also my in-game sensitivity stay as usual.

On the first day that the problem happened i restart the console and the problem fixed.

After few time it’s didn’t helped anymore.

    • Tried to reconnect mouse
    • tried delete game and reinstall (warzone)
    • Tried to use different mouse
    • Tried to change resolution
    • I didn’t try another games because i don’t know the feel of other games sensitivity to know if there is a different.
    • Tried reset (pull off al the cable from console)
    • Tried factory reset - console like new.
    • Reset mouse to factory default settings.

I even when I tried to low the ingame sensitivity / mouse dpi and tried to get used to it. But the mouse still feels wird by his motion and movement- kind of a faster acceleration.

    Unfortunately, nothing was helped.

    Hope to find solutions,

    David.

    :)

Same issue! It's like every game is dialed up to 100 sensitivity. I had to turn the sensitivity down to 1 in every game and it's still too high. Any advice would be great, it's been a nightmare

acceleration on mouse not going away?

Hello Kyle M, I am an independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today. My name is Khaji

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with mouse acceleration on your Xbox Series X.

First make sure to check the settings of the specific game you are experiencing the issue on. Some games may have additional configuration options for mouse sensitivity. Make sure the sensitivity is adjusted according to your preferences.

Then check to see if there are firmware updates available for your mouse. Visit the mouse manufacturer's website and check for the latest firmware updates. If an update is available, download it and install it on your mouse.

Check your Xbox Series X settings to make sure there are no settings related to mouse acceleration enabled. Check the accessibility and control options in Xbox settings to make sure everything is set up correctly.

Reset Xbox Settings to Defaults If none of the above solutions work, you can try resetting your Xbox Series perform this step.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! If you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact us again.

    Keyboard and mouse

Most "Gaming" mice have an exceptionally high poll rate and DPI resolution, which isn't properly supported in some games yet.

If your mouse came with a configuration software that allows you to change the DPI sensitivity or the Poll rate, try to set the mouse to a lower DPI and poll rate (125Hz poll rate is recommended).

If you are unable to change the poll rate or DPI sensitivity, then you can't use that gaming mouse on the Xbox One yet.

If you really need a dedicated Xbox gaming mouse, wait for the official Xbox One Razer gaming mouse, or simply get yourself a cheap office/business mouse instead of an expensive gaming mouse.

Can I play Rainbow six siege with keyboard and mouse in 2023? And if so how?

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    Good evening

Yes, you can play Rainbow Six Siege with a keyboard and mouse on Xbox Series X/S.

Connect your keyboard and mouse to your Xbox Series X/S console. You can connect them directly to the console's USB ports or use a USB hub if you need more ports.

Once your keyboard and mouse are connected, start up Rainbow Six Siege on your Xbox Series X/S.

In the game's main menu, navigate to the Options menu.

From the Options menu, select the Controls tab.

From the Controls tab, select the Controller Type option.

Change the Controller Type to Mouse and Keyboard.

Customize your keyboard and mouse settings to your liking.
