Xbox series x, mapping wheel

Hello,

I will assure you these questions from other users, but because I made a new purchase of the xbox steering wheel.

We have a new generation of consoles. I have an Xbox series X. Is there a chance that the restriction on mapping buttons for connected accessories, such as the steering wheel, will change in the future?

In my environment, I have a lot of friends who use xbox steering wheels, but such restrictions take away the pleasure and advantage of having a steering wheel

What is the model of wheel you are trying? Also, are you playing on an Xbox One X or an Xbox Series X?

My wheel is compatible with Xbox Series X/S console - double check the box and the manual inside.

I connected my wheel to the USB ports that are in the back and the front of the console.
In both cases, the Hori wheel is connected -I can see both lights in the wheel and the wheel is responding for few minutes.

After that, the wheel stop responding

From what I saw online, they are two versions of the steering wheel. One that is not compatible with the Xbox Series X|S consoles and one that is. You might have purchased the one that is not compatible with the console, Hence why you cannot get it to work. Check the documentation that came with the wheel to make sure you got the correct version for the Series X.

Also, when it comes to 3rd party hardware for the Xbox consoles, make sure the box that the steering wheel came in has a designed for Xbox logo on it, otherwise it might stop working after some time.

In a previous statement Xbox had confirmed that all Accessories available to the Xbox One will work on the Series X, so your new steering wheel should work on the upcoming console
