    Xbox Series X losing connectivity to headset and controller


    I have a razer thresher wireless headset that will randomly not sync, also at times my razer wolverine wired controller will act odd so I will unplug the USB from the Xbox and it will not repower...so then I grab a xbox wireless controller and that won't sync. The only fix is a hard reset. I may be in a nhl 22 esports game when it stops responding and my player stops playing until I leave my game and reset.

    Unfortunately, there is no built-in mic on the Xbox Series X and no bluetooth support if you're thinking to go that route.



    You will need to attach a headset with a mic to the Xbox Series X controller. The Xbox Series X controller uses a standard 2.5mm audio connection for Xbox Live, you can use any standard headset. (It does not have to be something fancy or expensive.)

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    In this case, you may need to reset your console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Unfortunately not, currently any headset needs to be connected using a cable in to the controller or via the xbox one stereo adapter which attaches to the controller.

    I don't know yet whether or not they'll be able to be used with the Series X.
