Xbox Series X Launch Failure

With the ongoing pandemic, do you think Microsoft and their distributors should have done better to limit scalpers? One per household, one per person, CAPTCHA, all readily available tools that should have been deployed after the first 6 months of ONLINE ONLY sales. I know they are not fool-proof, but they are GUARANTEED TO SLOW THE SCALPERS DOWN. This failure by Microsoft shows me they could care less about their customer base. I will do everything in my power to steer clear of Microsoft products and their SUB-PAR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. I will take my money elsewhere. Apple Computers, and Android have been my go-to for years now; Ever since the high failure rate of Xbox 360, I have looked elsewhere for electronics. GOODBYE MICROSOFT!

Obsessive Power

I can understand your frustration, but while scalpers have been a problem, it's actually not all down to them. There is a worldwide chip shortage which is affecting everything in the semiconductor, gaming and computer industry. It's so bad that car manufacturers have been cutting production due to lack of chips.

Xbox fans are short of Series X consoles, PlayStation fans can't find PS5's and PC gamers (myself) are finding new graphics cards hard to come by (a situation not helped by the current rise of Bitcoin).

You're also more likely to hear about a failure than not in regards to anything, because people don't speak out when things actually run well. Personally I've had 1 Xbox 360 fail out of 2 360s (it was 2-3 years old), an Xbox One received on launch day, at Xbox One S, an Xbox One X, and now an Xbox Series X I've had since launch.

Ok I have both versions of GTA downloaded on my series x the Xbox one version works fine on the series x I then downloaded the series s/x version on the series x I then launched the game and it gives the error message

With the Xbox One X you'll be safe to wait well after launch to buy the new Series X.

They've already said that launch games like Halo Infinite will also be launched for Xbox One consoles.

I've had my Xbox One X for over a year. I plan to buy the Xbox Series X for my main television and then move my Xbox One X to my living room television as my secondary console.
