    Xbox Series X - Keeps turning off


    Hi, Whenever I turn my Xbox on and try to start a game (any game) it turns off / crashes.

    It’s happened for a while, so I make sure I quit games before turning off the console.

    Are there any display settings to disable as I read some of these cause issues such as HDR10 etc.

    I’m not really a gamer and use the xbox for for media / steaming so it’s annoying when I do feel like playing a game and then it crashes right away.

    figured it out. Xbox series X wont turn off your controller or respond to the controller once its on a off state if your console is in ENERGY SAVER mode. In order to be able to turn your xbox on with the controller you must be in STANDBY mode. Thats a stupid move by Microsoft to force you to keep wasting power in order to turn on you console with the controller.
