Xbox Series X keeps shutting off

Provide more details next time and you'll get better answers. What are you ding when it powers down. Does it do it while idle?

Check the power cable and make sure it is seated all the way in to the console. Next make sure your outlet/power strip is in good working order.

I’m having This exact same problem every time I start up the outer worlds or exo flight my Xbox turns off says overheat but I’ll barely be 5 min into it and it turns off but I can play apex legends ranked for 14 hours a day straight and nothing happens to the Xbox. I even factory reset the Xbox did everything they said and it still won’t work. **** Microsoft

After getting annoyed because I was playing sea of thieves and it takes forever to do a single mission and the system just shut off on me I calmly unplugged my battery to remote and turn power back on. Seems to only happen back to back when I play Valhalla which **** sucks because it was my favorite. Hope it helps. Unfortunately Microsoft duped us all into buying a **** system.

Did they do it for free? How do you go about sending a console back to Microsoft for a replacement? I've been having this issue and have tried everything. I got the xbox all access through gamestop and am currently paying off my xbox every month and it won't even work properly
