    Xbox Series X keeps disconnecting


    I have my Series X wired with an Ethernet cable and I always seem to get disconnected for like 10 seconds but then it reconnects automatically. I’ve had it a couple times where it wouldn’t connect and I had to restart however. I can’t play any game online as it disconnects and it’s frustrating. I know it’s not my Modem or router as my PC and PS5 work flawlessly. I have replaced the Ethernet cable, I have Open NAT, reset the MAC address and selected a different port and nothing works. I really think it’s the Xbox but I don’t wanna go through the hassle of returning it to have it looked at, fixed or exchanged. What should I do?

    Same problem happens for Ethernet users too otherwise I wouldn't send a reply under your post. Just do a quick search whenever you have time on reddit and you'll see. I experience this problem for both wifi and ethernet. Quick 5-10 seconds of disconnection then reconnection, just enough to kick you out of a multiplayer session. Some experience it with only wifi some woth only ethernet. I am going to ask for a replacement. I advise you to do so if you can. That's all I can say.

    I see. I'm afraid if that's the case, your console really needs a service. I totally understand that you are having issues with the console. No worries, I have here the link to request a service for your console, make sure to register it first:

    Once registered, click show details then Start a service online.
