Xbox Series X keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi randomly

I understand that you are experiencing issues with your network being randomly disconnected.

Please update your router firmware. Visit your router manufacturer's website and look for the support or downloads section.

And then clear alternate MAC Address. To do this, please go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings and clear the alternate MAC address.

Next is set a manual DNS, please go to settings> network> network settings> Advanced settings>DNS Settings> Manual.

PRIMARY DNS: 8.8.8.8

SECONDARY DNS: 8.8.4.4

Kindly use an Ethernet cable to connect your Xbox to the router for a more stable connection.

we have a Wi-Fi extender but it doesn't do much for the Wi-Fi itself my Xbox itself is cabled. the connection is fine it's just that it randomly disconnects

If that worked would that prove that the Wi-Fi receiver in the Xbox is at fault ?

As my Xbox series x and Xbox one connect and play perfectly online via the same Wi-Fi

Could you also tell us if your console communicate directly with your wireless router over the air, or if you use an extender, to extend the coverage of your existing WLAN.

Please post up the make and model of your router, and for the modem as well (if this is not a single device).
