Xbox Series X keeps disconnecting from the xbox network

My series x keeps disconnecting from the xbox network and I tried to reset the router but it'll still happen again I've tried full shutting down my xbox and alternate mac address reset. Im getting really frustrated at this point and im starting to think I got a defective xbox.

I sympathise. Since this latest update my xbox one keeps disconnecting from the internet saying no network detected when the settings says it is. I have a series x haven't tried that yet to see if same issue .

If you're using a wired connection from console to network hardware, try WiFi (wireless) instead, or vice versa.

I've spotted your question and since it happened to me before, I'd like to share you some step that helped me when I had this problem. Have you heard about port forwarding? I asked because there could be one of the Xbox One ports needed that's closed. Regardless how fast your connection is, if one of the required port is closed, issues like this can happen.
