    Xbox Series X issues


    So as of late my Series X started to act strange. My controller will randomly disconnect from the Xbox and no matter what I do (outside of plugging it in) it will not re-sync back to my Xbox. During this, my Xbox also loses connectivity to the internet. It's a direct wired connection.

    If I shutdown the Xbox (not long hold) and turn back on, the Xbox will make a slight grind noise followed by a low quick tone/beep. The controller guide button will continue to blink and never sync to the Xbox.

    The only thing that seems to work temporarily is to long press power button to fully shut it down, unplug power from back of Xbox, and remove batteries from controller (then reverse those steps to turn back on). Sometimes this will work for days, other times it works for 30 mins.

    Has anyone had something like this? If so, what was done to fix it? I bought a new ethernet cable hoping that was the issue, but that didn't make a difference.

    I’m not sure how to reach these settings, but I’m quite certain it is not an issue with my router. My series x has worked for months before now, and all other devices on the network are working, including my Xbox one and Xbox one x. I have been having this issue since roughly the time that my series x last updated, is it possible that the issue is an overlooked bug in the series x OS?

    Series X name is destined to cause issues, both for sales and legally.

    I don't think it'll be that big on an issue since it's not Xbox One Series X just Xbox Series X. I did wish it was called Xbox Infinite though.
