Xbox Series X Issues (light pulses for about 5 mins when shutting down)

Hi, I have Xbox Series X console launch. When I game for hour then when I want to shut it down I get this pulse of the Xbox power button on and off for about 5 mins. The controller stay on so my xbox headset too also my TV is black. Then it finally shuts down. The controller shuts off and the xbox head set shuts off and then the the TV say no signal. I know there no update of the system or games. I check all the time. I have tried to unplug it for 5 mins when it was off to reset the cashe and then start to gaming hour or so still the same thing. There are times it does shut off quick but most of the time its like 5 mins. I started to notices this Feb. update. I even took a datavac that blow air its made for computers it still taking 5 mins thought cause of the heat. My last step is reset. Anybody else having these issues?

This is standard and has been going on since the Xbox One launch in 2013. When you turn off the consulate engages in various housekeeping tasks as well as checking for updates and finishing downloads if you have those features turned on. There’s no reason to be concerned unless it stays on for over an hour, and typically it finishes everything it needs to do in 5 to 10 minutes.

Hi thanks for getting back with me.

I still think not what its doing. It never done this until the Feb. update. I read on reddit other are having this problem too. They never had until Feb. update. Is there a way we can go back to before Feb. update?

It doesn't make any scene others experience it and other are not. If its doing house keeping like you said why not 2 of my cousin experiencing it? I think it something deeper in the software on that update.

If you get no message about overheating, it's not an issue

High end electronics get hot, it is perfectly normal.Ever touch an incandescent light bulb? How hot those are? They use less than half the power of Series X

To clarify part of my last post...after powering off machine, it stops downloading (the slow blinking green light on power button stops blinking completely). The light only pulses about 3 times which is approx.12 seconds and then shuts down completely,
no more lights. Sorry for going on here just want to be as clear as possible. Thanks again!
