xbox series x is a terrible console.

AA batteries are easily changed by the end user, and rechargeable ones are available everywhere and very affordable. I have ones that are ten years old. A built in battery requires disassembly of the controller by the end user, and cannot be changed. I go from 0-100% in about 5seconds

The controller was changed for the series X. Athe texture was added, the d-pad improved and the share button added

Windows 11 also requires a Microsoft account, which you can use on Xbox

When you purchase a subsidized device, things like requiring you to pay for online, and having ads on the dashboard are industry standards across all three majors, as it have been for 15+ years. If you paid a full retail price with a proper margin. an Xbox Series X would be $1-1200. These are ways that that deficit is covered.

Bs. I go thru an Xbox one controller every six months. I don't even damage them but just from usage buttons stop working. Sticks drift. My ps controller I've had since launch. Still going strong. Microsoft just wants to save money and not install a battery pack because they want u to buy their accesories. Microsoft use to be a good company and Xbox use to be for us gamers. Not only do u have to buy a few hundred dollar console but now u got to pay monthly to even play it online. That's trash. And they are selling Xbox x and series s same damn console almost as Xbox one. Really no huge jump to next generation. So now I gotta pay 399 or 289 for series x which is basically an updated Xbox one that runs slightly faster. They could definitely do better. If it wasn't for my friends all being on Xbox I would just buy a PS5 for next Gen I wanna support american consoles but they need to step their game up literally

I use rechargeable batteries, four of which and a charger cost me $12 these batteries are still in remote controls a decade later. Xbox controllers are $10 cheaper than PlayStation,

PlayStation and Nintendo also charge you to play online for the same reasons. they also use exactly the same analog stick mechanisms from a third-party supplier, so you just got lucky. My Xbox one launch controller is still functional, with the left stack being a little bit sticky a decade later.

i'm not sure what you would consider "next generation", but there are plenty of games like Microsoft flight simulator that are absolutely impossible on the previous generation

Well because unlike the ps co roller when they die you don't have to replace the whole.controller

You do know that series x controllers have better haptic right and better grips

Yes they are nice but the advance part you are talking about isnt a good thing

It a battery killer haptic feedback.drains the battery faster hence why I have 3 controllers for my ps5 I have to.Switch controllers often if I play Diablo 4 etc or plug them in

Why is Xbox such a poor running console? I purchased my son a new ps5 and me the xbox x, son has zero issues with ps5. After 2 days i am ready to sale the series x and go to ps5! WZ nor BF2042 work online! This is a terrible product!
