    Xbox series X instant on feature glitch

    Hi I’m having issues with the “Instant On” feature. It either won’t work half the time with my Alexa device and when it does the box doesn’t work correctly involving either not being recognized in the hdmi input or the screen will constantly flicker forcing me to do a restart every time to correct the issue. If I turn off the “instant on” feature I have no issues whatever so ever so I’ve isolated the problem to be a issue with that feature on the box. Is this a known problem with the new Xbox series x? I’ve toggled the feature on and off. Done multiple restarts on box and full shutdowns. You name it. It’s a consistent daily issue with that instant on feature enabled like stated above.

    I am having the same issue .I just received my Xbox series x and it keeps shutting off .I followed instructions to get instant mode on and there is no option for instant mode .I have stand by mode and energy saver that’s it .just wanted to see if I can get this issue resolved.thank you

    I'm having the same issue but with my series X. Downloads fine while on but as soon as i turn it off (in instant on mode) everything stops

    Can't watch Xbox store game trailers for more than one minute without freezing.

    Cut and paste response won't help. It's not a hardware issue. It's an issue on Microsoft side. Please do a search on this community for same issues. Lots of people have reported the issue. Used to happen on Xbox 360, Xbox one and now the X series.

    Yes. The Series X has almost all of the same settings as the One. Instant-on has been renamed to Standby.
