Xbox Series X home console locked

Hello, I am not able to set my Xbox Series X as my Home console as it says it has been changed 5 times within the last year. The Series X is 3 days old at this point, it appears the Series X won't allow me to change due to my Xbox One activity. How can I set my Xbox Series X to my home console? This is the first time I am trying to set it as "home".

i set the series X as the home xbox and it did not let me play MW3 even though i own it.

Edit : When i swapped the series X as my home console it took away MW3 on the series S too. So now i cant play on both consoles.

Yes it's definitely the home console. Also checked the series x and it's not registered as the home console

Are you offline? Is the Series X your home Xbox?

No my Xbox series x is online and on the same network as my Xbox one and my Xbox series x is set as my home Xbox

what happens when i want to use the home (series x) and send my kids to the xbox one?

my daughter is trying to play on the xbox one and it says i have to sign in, but i am in the other room playing the main (home) xbox series X

how do we work around this?

honestly, i will probably never play the original xbox one console where everything was purchased and all games sit.

i would be playing on the 'home' xbox series x
