Discus and support XBOX Series X Headset - wired connection to controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is it possible to connect the sereis S/X headset to the controller via usb-c to 3.5 audio cable as a wired headset?     XBOX Series X Headset - wired connection to controller


    Is it possible to connect the sereis S/X headset to the controller via usb-c to 3.5 audio cable as a wired headset? Could this be a future firmware update? It would be nice to have the option for wired or wireless.

    I understand you about the xbox license.

    I rather not want to have a wireless headset because I dont like charging and the battery life will decrease over time. So that leave me with two options:
    1. Wired, 3.5mm into the Xbox series x controller
    2. Wired, usb, into the Xbox series X

    I checked the microsoft store and there are only 2 compatible series X headsets. Both wireles.

    Do you know any wired Xbox series X headset? That is compatible with the series x? I prefer USB but have to go 3.5mm otherwise.

    No, it's not possible to use an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S controller on an Xbox 360 even connected with a wire.

    Unfortunately, there is no built-in mic on the Xbox Series X and no bluetooth support if you're thinking to go that route.



    You will need to attach a headset with a mic to the Xbox Series X controller. The Xbox Series X controller uses a standard 2.5mm audio connection for Xbox Live, you can use any standard headset. (It does not have to be something fancy or expensive.)
