    Ive had the xbox series x for around a month and the headphone jack on the controller already has stopped working correctly. i can't find any replacement headphone jacks for the xbox series x controller I can only find them for the xbox one controller. Does the xbox one controller use the same headphone jack as the series x controller and can i buy an xbox one replacement headphone jack for the series x controller?

    Hi,

    The 3.5mm headphone jack on Xbox One/Series X|S controllers (including Elite controllers) does not work when connected via Bluetooth. It will only work via USB or the official Xbox wireless adaptor.

    I had this same problem. It turned out to be a bad headphone jack on the controller. After replacing the jack it works fine.

    I have just replaced the headphone jack.

    No joy.

    I DID however hear sound in headphones on power-up then once the Xbox green screen disappeared

    the headphone went dead and the muted microphone icon is still there

    I found this strange, Xbox series X/S controllers has the same 3.5mm jack connector as the Xbox one controllers

    Why headphones do you have?
    Did you tried using a completely different headset to see if something similar happens?
    Or if you have another Xbox Series X/S controllers please try the headphones there
