    Xbox Series X Games Crash on Launch


    The main two games I play on my new Xbox series X are Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone. Both games begin to launch but quickly freeze and go back to the home screen with no error message. Cold war begins to launch, after a few seconds the screen goes dark and then a few seconds later, it goes back to the homes screen. Warzone will begin to launch, get all the way until the Activision loadout and then freeze in the middle of it. Shortly after it too goes back to homescreen. I downloaded Skyrim to see if something similar happens with that game. For Skyrim, the game loads but then freezes after I select new game.

    I have tried restarting my xbox, power cycling, quitting games from home, clearing cache, removing games from console and then re-downloading them as well as resetting my console. I really don't know what else to do here. I called customer support and I had a terrible experience. The person on the line guided me through some settings and then asked if my tv was on. Then I was put on hold and she hung up.

    Any suggestions?

    Is the Xbox X|S unstable (bricking, crashing etc.)?

    Like the title says, Is the Xbox X|S unstable like the PS5 was at launch, or is it stable? When the Xbox X|S first launched, I heard stuff about it crashing, bricking, etc. I was wanting to know, so I know whether to get it now, or wait.
    Hello, I have had my Xbox series x since Christmas my console has been fine no crashing i would recommend you get one if you haven't already. Also issues that have been happening with series x/s Microsoft are working on them but mostly the issues are on the units that were on sale on the launch date.

    Warzone and Halo crashing/shutting off series x

    Halo infinite was hard crashing a lot for me at launch but then seemed to work perfectly through December and now after the most recent update I’m back to crashing almost every game. The game even crashes in the main menu sometimes. Half the time it crashes to Xbox dashboard half the time it shuts the whole Xbox off. I’m on a series x. I’ve done all the troubleshooting tips. This game is broken.

    If its running without crashing on the second xbox series x in your home, the problem we all are having is perhaps with a bad console that has some inherent manufacturing problems and belongs to earliest manufactured lot when xbox series x was just launched.

    I can't play normal on a Xbox Series X without a crash or a freezing Game. Playing with Xbox Series X controller, 4K HDR 60FPS , cross play enabled (without crossplay the Xbox found no Matches )



    The Game crashes 10 min into play, either when in a match or in menu.

    I have conducted following troubleshooting steps: Reset the game, reinstalled the game, reset the console completly, reset the console, removed everything and nstalled BF2042 again....
