    Xbox Series X game clips are dark for certain games


    Some games I make video clips for using the "capture" button on my xbox controller end up looking extremely dark, almost black.

    This happens mainly when playing the Halo Master Chief Collection. But my Forza Horizon 4 clips were also quite dark (though not to the same extent).

    When I disable HDR10 video mode in settings, the clips are fine and bright.

    However, I want to be able to use HDR10 for my games.

    Is there something I'm doing wrong?

    Perfect Dark is still available, however it looks like they have switched over to the Game Pass/Xbox One/ Series X/S format.

    The Deluxe edition includes both the Xbox One and Series X/S versions so you'll be able to freely install it to your Xbox One when it releases in April.

    Recording clip on xbox series s cause fps drop or lag?

    It is very low while playing and a normal player cannot detect it, but it becomes very intense while saving the clip.

    It should be noted that the clips are saved without sound unless I have already opened a non-optimized game and then open the optimized Xbox series s/x games.
