XBOX SERIES X FORTNITE FLASHING LIGHT GLITCH

I purchased an XBOX Series X from Microsoft a couple weeks ago and I downloaded a couple games which seemed to run fine. However, when I tried to play fortnite I get a super weird light flashing glitch that covers almost the entire screen and you can't see anything. I have tried hard resetting the console, changing TV's, uninstalling and Reinstalling fortnite, switching HDMI cables, changing screen quality/resolution, and so much more troubleshooting and nothing has seemed to work. I waited for fortnite to update so it would hopefully work properly but nothing has resolved. If it is the XBOX then I am really disappointed in Microsoft and their manufacturing. Can somebody please explain what is going on with this. It would be much appreciated.

I'm hoping they patch it soon. It's been like this for about 2 months now and I've sent numerous reports to EPIC about this but nothing has been resolved.

I am having the same issue, and it seems most people playing on Xbox Series X are too since the new v16 Fortnite update. Can only report it to the developers through /r/FortniteBR and they'll hopefully pick it up soon.

I panicked too that it was the new console, but it only happens during this game. The Medium had a similar issue at launch, but it was patched too.

Just to be sure. Go to TV and video options and under video modes disable low latency mode, hdr10, auto HDR and Dolby Vision if you use and test games again.

Click with the menu button on the game icon and go to manage game and add-ons and in saved data delete the ''reserved space'', clean your console's MAC, restart when prompted, and see if that solves the problem.

To clean the MAC follow this path

Settings>general>network settings>advanced settings>alternative MAC address and click clear and restart the console when prompted.

If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

If the problem still persists, please reinstall the game.
