    Xbox Series X experiencing consistent crashes after startup.


    Hi everyone, so my Xbox Series X started to experience crashes shortly after I would turn it on. It did it a few times yesterday (12/7/2020) but seemed to resolve, and now today (12/8/2020) I can barely make it to the dashboard without it completely shutting
    down on its own. I attempted to restore it back to factory settings in hopes that would resolve it completely but even that doesn't seem to help. Now it doesn't even make it to 75% of starting up the console. I had an external hard drive (WD_Black P10 4tb)
    attached, which I've now disconnected although that didn't seem to help at all. I only had 3 games actually downloaded onto my internal system, (Cyberpunk; Sekiro; and Jedi Fallen Council) And I had Destiny 2 stored onto my external system. Something that
    I noticed was the Marketplace app was queued for an update for the past 4 - 5 days but never did update, but I honestly don't know if that was the cause. Is there a fix found for this yet? I know some people were experiencing crashes around the time of launch
    but that never occurred on mine until now. Thanks.

    My name is welcome to the community.

    Hello Justin, is this happening only with these two games or with all the games you try to play on the console?

    You mention that you have already tried some procedures, however try to remove the quick resume of the games that you have installed on your console and then clean the cache.

    1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

    2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

    3. Wait 1 minute with it off

    4. Turn it back on

    Warzone and Halo crashing/shutting off series x

    I feel your pain! I have an issue where the game consistently crashes at the main menu for me on Series X. Xbox Support basically said it's not my console, rather an issue with the game.

    I'd recommend submitting a ticket with Halo Support! That may speed up the process for finding a fix for this.

    Xbox Series X Civ 6 crashing every other turn

    I never noticed an update for Civ 6 on my Series X. Is it confirmed now that a patch went live to resolve this issue? I had to stop playing because of this consistent crashing on turn 100+.

    I am not part of this Xbox Insider program I'm now hearing about, no idea what that is.

    Forza Horizon 4 Steam user and Xbox Game Pass user in the same convoy

    I am experiencing the same problem but in reverse. I am using an Xbox Series X and can play Forza Horizon without it crashing, until I join a convey, at which point my game crashes.

    Appears to have been happening since the update that was recently applied for the game.
