Xbox series x Ethernet suddenly stopped working.

I was playing a couple days ago and my Ethernet suddenly cut out. When I switch to wireless it works but the second the Ethernet gets plugged in it completely shuts down. There was a similar question that got answered and gave a few ways to fix it and I tried them all and I still can’t figure out what’s going on. Ive tried switching the cable, using different ports into the router, resetting MAC address, my NAT type is open, reset the router, and even reset the Xbox (keeping games and apps). The last thing I have to try is to completely factory wipe the Xbox. I’m hoping there’s a solution that doesn’t require that.

That sounds like a hardware issue, Follow these steps to request the service:

So when I plug the Ethernet in I lose all connection to the internet just on the Xbox everything else is fine.

When it cut out is was just the Xbox, I have my pc plugged in right next to it and it was completely fine, and no one else in the house has been having any problems with the WiFi so it seems to just me the Xbox

I’ll try to use a different network to see if it still works at all

What is completely shutting down, the router or the console?

When you mention that the Ethernet suddenly cut out, was due to a power surge or do you only mean that stopped working on the console?

Have you tried using a different network device, maybe on a friend's house? Just to know if the problem comes from the console or is the network hardware

I play on xbox series x the games that i mentioned works perfectly fine but suddenly at a certain point the controller stops working so im obliged to remove the battery from my controller and leave the game and i still can't find a solution

After I moved / swapped the two Xbox series x

from the first Xbox series x stopped working when placed in my bedroom

when moved to bedroom I even traded from Apple device working Ethernet working fine,…?

Why did the working Apple net-working cable stop or NOT WORKing at 2nd Xbox?

To be fair, madden and basketball 2k are 2003 versions working fine in both xbox‘s locations. My only failure is the new flight simulator.

When putting that Ethernet cable working fine in Apple streaming still work fine BUT not like to help the 2nd Xbox series x when swapping Xbox series x as I said not working in bedroom as the ‘Xbox” say I have 1008 mbps was working. That is GBps speed gigabit? But flight simulator won’t work unless I swap them again?

Do I have to delete the bedroom Xbox completely to reformat it, even though the hardware in both boxes have gigawatt speed? Showing when looking at the system speed?
