Xbox series X Ethernet not working

Hi Zander! Sorry to hear about what happened. Let's do our best here to get this sorted out.

When it kicks you out, do you receive any error code or error message?
Does your wireless connectivity work just fine?

For our basic troubleshooting steps, try to power cycle your modem/router and your console. Turn them off both, remove or unplug them from their power sources and wait few minutes before turning them back on.

If it does the same thing, it would be best if we perform a factory reset to remove potentially corrupted data in your console.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
On the Reset your console? Please choose “Reset and keep my games & apps”

No it doesn’t give me any error message, it just acts as if I unplugged my router. My wireless connection works fine, but when my Ethernet does work my wired connect is better. After trying both of your solutions, it still hasn’t helped and does the exact same thing.

Thank you for trying. I appreciate it. Since you've tried different routers and Ethernet cables, I am afraid that it may be an issue with your console itself - maybe on its internals or port. Maybe try cleaning your Ethernet port.

Our last resort here is to perform a factory reset but this time we choose to remove everything where you have to reinstall everything. Though, it's not guaranteed to fix the issue if it's hardware-related but worth the try if you opt to sending it for repair.

After I moved / swapped the two Xbox series x

from the first Xbox series x stopped working when placed in my bedroom

when moved to bedroom I even traded from Apple device working Ethernet working fine,…?

Why did the working Apple net-working cable stop or NOT WORKing at 2nd Xbox?

To be fair, madden and basketball 2k are 2003 versions working fine in both xbox‘s locations. My only failure is the new flight simulator.

When putting that Ethernet cable working fine in Apple streaming still work fine BUT not like to help the 2nd Xbox series x when swapping Xbox series x as I said not working in bedroom as the ‘Xbox” say I have 1008 mbps was working. That is GBps speed gigabit? But flight simulator won’t work unless I swap them again?

Do I have to delete the bedroom Xbox completely to reformat it, even though the hardware in both boxes have gigawatt speed? Showing when looking at the system speed?

I didn’t initially but i went back and changed it to my home console and that fixed my profile issues i was having first day. I am in the process of rebooting everything and i replaced all the ethernet cables between the series x and the modem. A tv on
the same ethernet switch as the xbox series x was having connectivity issues too. I’m hoping rebootong that switch fixes it, but that doesnt explain why i can play some games but not others and my streaming aps work.
