Xbox Series X disconnects from WiFi when turned off

Whenever I turn my series x off and turn it back on, the WiFi connection doesn’t work. It says it is connected to the router but is without signal. If I try reconnecting, I get the “can’t connect, check your network name and password” message. My console connects to my phone’s hotspot without issue, but has trouble connecting to my home network. If I just keep trying to put the password in, eventually it connects. Once connected, it registers 100% signal strength, 0% packet loss. I’ve rebooted, unplugged for thirty seconds, and restarted router (also unplugged for thirty seconds). Nothing has fixed it. Ideas?

Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

Hello again, It might be if you belonged to some Insider ring, but I don't think that's the case.

Have you ever tried to do some kind of reset on your console, whether it's keeping games and apps or deleting everything?

I’m not sure how to reach these settings, but I’m quite certain it is not an issue with my router. My series x has worked for months before now, and all other devices on the network are working, including my Xbox one and Xbox one x. I have been having this issue since roughly the time that my series x last updated, is it possible that the issue is an overlooked bug in the series x OS?

Hello RabidStorm02, would know if the two frequencies of your modem/router are active to 2.4 and 5.0, and the channel they are active is active.

I ask that because sugarcane can influence the equipment.

Ideally, to verify that your device needs a firmware update and channel verification on your device.

If you don't have access to the settings, you'll probably have to ask your ISP.

Yes, I understand that. But even though I’m an insider, I did not sign up for the preview updates (there is an option for it in the insider hub). That being said, is there a way to make sure I’m on a normal version? I thought I was on a normal version. Like I said in my last post, the only difference between my version number and the latest normal version is that I have a 0 where the latest has a 2.
