    Xbox Series X Deletes Captures if Device is Turned off Before Upload is Completed


    I have noticed an issue on the Series X where any captures that have not been uploaded to the Xbox network are lost/deleted if the console is turned off before the upload to the Xbox network is completed.

    Never had this issue before and upload would continue when the console was next switched on. Not sure whether this is a bug or latest software but please can this be resolved? I am constantly losing captures entirely.

    i had this issue as well but just changed my capture settings and made my captures upload only with my permission

    im having the same issue, im on the s series and my captures are glitched, i cant upload if i try and delete my network clips that have already uploaded it will not allow me to or will show them deleted and then re appear its been the same for a few days now, already tried the basics like turning off and turning on so i beg you dont suggest some btech basic flick the switch fix, fix the captures.

    If I may ask, are you trying to upload or delete captures via Xbox console or via Xbox app?

    Also, may I know when was the last time you attempted to upload and delete captures?

    Kindly give it 24 hours to have it sync in the Xbox Live server, however, if it doesn't work, please perform a power cycle before deleting them again.

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Make sure that you're deleting them from the "Xbox Network"

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Go to Capture & share, and then select Recent captures > Show all.

    3. Select On the Xbox network in the first dropdown box.

    4. Select the clip you want to delete.

    5. Press the A button, and then select Delete.

    Please take your time and let me know if it works.
