  1. Xbox Series X cuts out all Wireless Communications Randomly

Since purchasing the Series X in November, this has happened on and off and seemed gone for a little while (maybe because I haven't used in very frequently in the past few months) but when I do play I am sometimes getting instances when my controller (standard Series X controller) and Wireless Headset (Razor Thresher) completely disconnect and I am forced to hard reset the console in order to get them back working again. I've tried other controllers and the issue persists. If I plug in the controller via USB-C cable it begins working again which tells me this is a wireless comms problem. Any advice or do I need to send in my console for repairs?

    - Xbox Series X

    - XSX Wireless Controller

    - Official Xbox Plug and Play Kit (USB-C Version)

    - Razor Thresher Wireless Headset

    Many Thanks

Xbox Series X cuts out all Wireless Communications Randomly

Hi, just confirming you have the latest update on your console which released in March.

The issue is mentioned as a known issue from the latest release (3/15/21) located below:

    https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/settings-updates/whats-new-xbox-one-system-updates.

Although it provides a workaround, staying tuned for updates hopefully resolves your issue soon.

    Hi RadicalzEnigma

    Check for wireless interference,

Excerpt from Troubleshoot network connection speed

    "Disconnect third-party headsets

Third-party wireless headsets can cause active interference because they broadcast on the same frequency as wireless routers. To identify if the headset is causing the issue, disconnect the power from the base station of the wireless headset. Then test your Xbox Live connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics).

If the wireless headset was causing the error, your console should now connect to Xbox Live. If this does not resolve the connection problem, continue checking for other kinds of wireless interference.

Check for other wireless interferenceActive interference occurs when other electronic devices are broadcasting a wireless signal or are causing some other form of electromagnetic interference. Common causes of active interference are microwaves, ovens, air conditioners, CRT televisions, wireless headsets, baby monitors, other wireless networks, cordless phone systems, and wireless speakers.

Note As a best practice to minimise potential wireless interference, make sure that all of the cables on the back of your console are gathered away from and are not touching the console.

Passive interference occurs when a wireless signal passes through objects. This causes the wireless signal to be weakened and refracted. Materials that cause passive interference include concrete, glass, lead and copper piping, insulation, mirrors, gun safes, filing cabinets, tile, and plaster.

Attenuation occurs as the wireless signal degrades over distance. Routers have a limited broadcast range, which varies from device to device. A device’s range can be reduced further if the signal passes through solid objects. The ideal distance from the wireless router for the Xbox console is usually between 5 and 50 feet.

Line of sight is important when dealing with interference. Imagine a straight line from your router to your console, and try to eliminate as many points of interference as you can along that line. You can do this by turning off or moving any devices along that line that could cause interference. You can also relocate the console or the router to minimise interference. Moving devices outside of entertainment cabinets or desks can often help improve wireless signals.

Once you have determined the best line of sight configuration for your devices and have removed as many causes of interference as possible, test your Xbox Live connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics).

for a series X I have three different headsets that all allow me to hear the game but wont allow me to talk to my friends, how can i fix this?

They are wireless and all work, in fact I was using my newest one earlier the same day. While I was on hold for an hour and 15 minutes it randomly started working again. The only thing I did during that time was dust my Xbox series x. So I don’t know if it just needed to be cleaned or why it stopped working but it randomly started working again.

Bluetooth Controls Compatibility with Xbox One S All Digital (Compatibilidade de Controles Bluetooth com o Xbox One S All Digital)

Yes, because all the official xbox one controllers are compatible with all xbox one consoles (original, S, S all digital & X) and even with the future Series X. All the xbox one controllers have the wireless protocol, the newer versions of the controller
have also the bluetooth but it is not used to communicate with the xbox one consoles.
