Xbox Series X crashing while restarting!

So my Xbox Series X arrived on November 12th and it was working fine. That’s until I inserted the Seagate 1 TB expansion card. Then I held down the Xbox button on the controller and pressed Restart, the system showed the Xbox logo, but then it crashed
and made this loud sound. The system would then boot back up and work perfectly fine, EVERY time I restart it via the controller while the Seagate card is inserted it crashes. I tried 3 different cards on 4 different Xbox’s (not all mine) and the same thing
happens. I made a YouTube video showing and explaining the problems better.
I’m almost 100% sure it’s a software problem, but not a lot of people are dicussing it because not everyone has the Seagate expansion card. Is anyone having this issue? If you are please let me know.

Hi ADK Ic3mAnX,

A few of us have this same problem with this Seagate 1 TB expansion card. I watched your videos and it’s the same problem that I have. I think either Seagate or Microsoft needs to have a firmware update done to correct the issue.

Did you get a resolution ? I've just received a brand new xbox series x back, date on the back is 4th June 2021. (last xbox series x died)

Every game I load results in xbox restarting or crash to the dashboard

I know I'm not HomelessHippo69 but I am also having the exact same issue and I wanted to answer your questions. I also have the Xbox Series X and am playing the Series X version of BF2042

The game crashes and/or restarts the xbox within around 15 minutes of playing the multiplayer game. It usually starts by just crashing the game but as I keep re-entering the game and play the crashing eventually turns into a full on shut off and restart of the console. I rarely can even finish a full round without crashing/restart of Xbox. The game seems to crash and/or restart my console in a shorter time period than usual when playing the game with friends. This is only happening when I play Battlefield 2042. Also,
I have the Xbox Series X|S version installed
The game is running off the internal drive.
I will submit a bug report.
There are no game updates to install. There was a season 2 game update that happened earlier this week but this issue was happening even before the new update released.

It's manually set to HDMI already and settings saved. Console has been restarted several times since then (especially when Halo Infinite is crashing the XBOX Series X again -_- )

Still asynchronous.
