    Xbox series x crashing/shutting down


    Hello guys. So quite a few people on here are having the series x issue with call of Duty cold war. Where soon as you start a match, the xbox shut down. I have found the issue. So a lot of us have pre downloaded cold war as we expected it to be the optimized
    for series x version. Well.. Turns out that it is not the correct version for our new series x. Uninstall it, and download the optimized for series x version. I noticed something wasn't right when the file size was around 80gb. The optimized for series x version
    is 130gb. I hope this solves everyone's issue. As for others having it crashing with other games as well. I would hope this is also the problem.

    Just white usually a game will crash, light blinks series x games seem to struggle to play. And sometimes they'll freeze and shut the console down. No error messages though

    I’m having the same problem with my Series X and Halo. Sometimes just the game crashes, sometimes the entire console shuts down. I have tried all of the above suggestions and it still happens.

    I purchased the Series X specifically for Halo. Very frustrating.
