Xbox Series X crashing and shutting off

From the time I got my Xbox Series X last year, I have had issues with games crashing or the console suddenly turning off, but recently it has gotten worse. Most games I try to play can't go more than a few minutes of playing without crashing or turning the console off completely. At one point, it crashed and turned itself off before it even fully turned on. I don't think it is a problem with overheating because of it crashing as soon as it starts up, and I have tried different fixes such as factory resetting it, fully powering it down, deleting and re-adding profiles, clearing local save data, clearing cache, cleaning out dust, repositioning the console, pretty much anything I could think of has not worked. Is there anything else I could try or any way to request a replacement/service even if my warranty is void?

Really then, I advise you to activate the warranty. If it actually ended already, you will be charged a fixed amount for this repair.

Enter the link, register the console.

After, click on it, go to 'online service'. In the category put hardware and drivers and fill in the form with your data.

NAT type is open.

I tried out hotspot and loaded up a game, and it crashed upon starting up and tried a second time, and it only lasted about a minute and a half before crashing.

Scroll right on the panel to the System area.

Select Settings.

Select Network.

Select Network Settings.

Select NAT Test Type.

Tell me what appears on this test, please

And if your cell phone has mobile data, use it in hotspot mode, connect the console to that network and see if it continues to turn off.

Halo infinite was hard crashing a lot for me at launch but then seemed to work perfectly through December and now after the most recent update I’m back to crashing almost every game. The game even crashes in the main menu sometimes. Half the time it crashes to Xbox dashboard half the time it shuts the whole Xbox off. I’m on a series x. I’ve done all the troubleshooting tips. This game is broken.

I know I'm not HomelessHippo69 but I am also having the exact same issue and I wanted to answer your questions. I also have the Xbox Series X and am playing the Series X version of BF2042

The game crashes and/or restarts the xbox within around 15 minutes of playing the multiplayer game. It usually starts by just crashing the game but as I keep re-entering the game and play the crashing eventually turns into a full on shut off and restart of the console. I rarely can even finish a full round without crashing/restart of Xbox. The game seems to crash and/or restart my console in a shorter time period than usual when playing the game with friends. This is only happening when I play Battlefield 2042. Also,
I have the Xbox Series X|S version installed
The game is running off the internal drive.
I will submit a bug report.
There are no game updates to install. There was a season 2 game update that happened earlier this week but this issue was happening even before the new update released.
