    Xbox Series X crashes some minutes into gameplay


    Got my Xbox Series X today.

    Tested several old games (Fallout 4, Dead Rising 4, GTA V, Fallout76, Starwars Battlefront 2).

    All of them crashed when playing for a couple of minutes. A classic screen freeze and sound lag prior to reverting to home screen.

    The old games were copied over from my external SSD and installed on the Series X drive, then updated. Fallout 76 and SBF2 was downloaded via game pass.

    Has since done factory reset and will try again.

    Installed Titanfall 2 from via game pass, worked fine.

    Anyone else with the same issues? Suggestions?

    Hey, I have got exactly the same issue. But instead of reverting to home screen, the console turns off

    I have tested a few game pass games and experienced issues with all of them. Some do not start up, some I could play for some time before the console crashed and others crashed when I tried to go back to home screen myself.

    None of my gamepass games or my account digital games will work on series x.

    Apex legends and my last disc based game MCC are working though...

    Must be a digital licenses issue

    I’ve had the same issue but only with digital games. Before I couldn’t get past the titles on Warzone, Ori and Gears: Tactics.

    I know xbox has had some trouble with xbox live today, and when they briefly fixed it, i managed to get on Ori for a long time. But then they had more trouble with live and I cant get on anything again.

    Disc games seem to work fine.

    Series X shut off with F1 23 and Fanatec

    Ok now it's going crazier... I just tried an hard reset, reinstalled f1 23, boot it and crashed after some minutes, no gameplay on it, only controller connected.

    Should I sent my series x back to MS as it might be faulty? It is just one month old.

    It crashes on me no matter what console I'm on I'm so sick of app crashing on me every 30 minutes i use xbox series s series x and pc and still does same thing app crashes and I have to start it back up
