    Xbox Series X crashes LG TV when going into standby


    Hello, I'm having an issue where my LG TV (LED NANO) stops working when my series X goes into standby. Basically, finish playing on the Xbox, turn it off and the screen goes blank. The LG still has power but no display, can't bring up a menu or change source. Only way to solve is to unplug the TV and turn it back on. This only occurs when using the Xbox on the LG. Also have a PS5 which is fine, tried the Xbox on a Samsung TV and that's fine. Any ideas?

    Have you tried to reset the Tv to factory default? You mentioned that the console doesn't do this on a different tv so the problem must be the Tv, it could also be a problem with the HDMI port you use on the TV or if you are using bot consoles plugged to the TV at the same time

    I am using the 4K HDMI 2.1 cables. I am thinking this is an XBOX series X and/or LG software issue as my PS5 plays just fine with the 4K settings on the LG TV and the XBOX plays on other non-LG TVs.

    It's not the Series X..... It doesn't happen to other tv's.....I think it's a compatibility thing with LG TV's.

    Having this issue with the series X and the 2020 77” LG OLED. Only thing that fixes it is turning the TV off and on.
