    Xbox series x crashes everyday


    Everyday day at least once my screen just randomly freezes until eventually it closes out whichever game I’m playing. Usually I’ll just go ahead with dashboarding and then jus close out the game. I’ll then start the game back up and by the time the game loads me back in it freezes once again but this time it freezes to where I now cannot even dashboard or anything where I jus wait an then the xbox jus shuts down by itself. Its basically the exact same thing that use to happen to the other older Xbox’s when they made the machine gun noise except mines doing everything but the noise. I’ve reset my network, hard reset the Xbox, restarted my modem and router and it still just happens eventually again. It’s done it everyday at least once for a week or two now. What is going on?

    Got it. Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>

    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.

    Just to be clear. Was the hard reset you did resetting the console to factory defaults erasing everything? Do you use an external hard drive with the console?

    Am I going to lose my game clips and captures? Sry for the late reply but I ended up falling asleep the other day and then just within the past 2 hours it’s done it two times which reminded me about this thread

    No I just held the power button down for 15 seconds or so until it shut off. And no I don’t use any kind of external anything. I only use what came with the Xbox itself
