Xbox Series X Controller Stopped Working

    Xbox Series X Controller Stopped Working


    I got my Xbox Series X in January/early February of this year, so my controller I suppose is the "launch" controller that had all the issues early on. Personally, I haven't had any issues with this Series X controller until now, as I kept my controller updated and have taken good care of it. I have not dropped it or damaged it in any way.

    This afternoon, I used the Xbox button on it to turn it off to save battery and went to play with the dogs outside. When I returned, the controller turned on, but would not respond to any input on the buttons. None of the buttons worked. It turns on, but doesn't function beyond that. It was like my controller became a vegetable.

    I did the following to attempt to remedy this:

    • Removed and re-inserted the batteries
    • Replaced the batteries and ensured they were inserted correctly
    • Power cycled the controller
    None of the above worked. Power cycling the console was what ended up fixing the issue.

    So my question is: Is my controller faulty? Should I use the new one that I just got for Christmas instead?

    Controller suddenly stopped working. Lights up when plugged in, tried multiple cables. Does not show up under device manager.

    My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore
