    Xbox Series X controller not working


    I just got a new Xbox series X controller for my PC.

    I followed the guide and updated the firmware using the Xbox Accessories App, i also updated windows,

    I removed the usb cable and connected via bluetooth. The controller could not be detected through "Everything Else" section which seemed to have been dedicated for stuff like controller, so i had to use the normal bluetooth connection. At first it was placed in the others section and then was automatically moved to "keyboard and mouse"

    I started Watch Dogs 2 and noticed that the controller wasn't giving any input to the game , however, when i connected with usb cable it works perfectly. I have tested Assassins Creed Chronicles: China and the game was confused of the controls, even with usb connection . The buttons were not doing the things they were supposed to do.

    I could not find a fix for this anywhere.
    Please help.

    Controller suddenly stopped working. Lights up when plugged in, tried multiple cables. Does not show up under device manager.

    My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore

    Xbox one controller

    The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.

    Hello _Cristophe-,

    Thank you for your post. The Xbox Series X will allow for backward compatibility with Xbox One controllers, meaning an Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will work as normal with the Series X.
