    Xbox series X controller NOT working PC


    OK, so I've been using an xbox pad for years and all of a sudden, I use a USB to connect and have tried a second cable and different USB ports. This is a new-ish PC, so I am not sure if I've used it on this but I can not for the life of me figure out why it will not work. I hear the sound that it has connected but when I power on the controller the power light slowly flashes and it sounds like it has disconnected again.

    If you want to play PC games then you need to play them on your PC. If your PC isn't good enough then you'll need to buy one that is. You can't play PC games on a Series X.

    Both my self assembled PC gaming tower and my Series X are connected to my new LG C2 OLED. I use either my Xbox Series X controller or my 8bitdo Pro+ for most single player PC games. You're not restricted to keyboard and mouse for PC games for the most part.

    On the video, Xbox Series X has USB type A only.

    The new controller, I think is type-A (Xbox Series X) to type-c (controller). (Elite2 is a to c usb)

    I am sorry you are experiencing issues playing on the PC while the controller is plugged in via USB.

    What type of controller are you using? (Xbox one controller, Xbox Series X|S controller, Elite Series 1 or 2 controller?)

    What is the current firmware on your controller?

    Have you tried unpairing the controller (completely remove it from your PC) then plug it in like new with the USB cable?

    Hi yes, with my XBOX ONE controller all is ok. When i use my XBOX SERIES X controller with cable, it's seem to be ok too.

    It's really when i play with wireless on XBOX SERIES X controller....
