Xbox Series X controller multiple devices with PC wireless adapter

From what I've read I believe this function only works between a bluetooth device and the Xbox. It doesn't seem to work when your controller is already connected to the wireless adapter and you want to switch to Xbox.

if anyone has a similar issue i plugged in a generic Bluetooth dongle and can confirm the Xbox official dongle was the issue , the double tap the switch devices now works

No, just the other way around, I'm not using a dongle, my PC has native Bluetooth, but as your dongle is not from Microsoft so I suggested you visit the manufacturer's website and check the device drivers.

Hello THX. I think i can only connect a device if it uses dongle, at least it's always been that way for me.

What I can do now on another PC with the latest update of the controller is sync the controller to the PC and Xbox and switch by double-clicking the pairing button.

However try to see if in the dongle specifications using it allows more than one connection
