Xbox series x controller giving choppy audio

So i brought new rig universal gaming headset and when I have it plugged into a pc it works fine but when I have it plugged into my xbox through the controller the audio is all choppy I got it to work fine for like an hour doing the update controller and turn audio to Max trick but the next time I turned on the xbox it didn't work I messed around with settings and the least worse I got was with mono settings activated. Can someone please suggest something better that I could be missing?
