    I have a problem with my Xbox One Series X controller, from the beginning. In each game, after loading, the joystick keeps the direction it was facing before loading. For example, I orient the joystick to the right to take a passage in a game, at the passage there is a loading time during which I release my joystick, but once the loading is finished, my character will continue to move to the right without touching the joystick. If I touch the joystick, everything goes back to normal, but it's weird. Do you think it's a controller issue, or just something that will be fixed by an update?

    J'ai un problème avec la manette de ma Xbox One Series X, depuis le début. Dans chaque jeu, après un chargement, le joystick garde la direction dans laquelle il était orienté avant le chargement. Par exemple, j'oriente le joystick vers la droite pour prendre un passage dans un jeu, arrivé au passage il y a un temps de chargement durant lequel je relâche me joystick, mais une fois le chargement terminé, mon personnage continuera d'avancer vers la droite sans que je touche au joystick. Si je touche le joystick, tout redevient normal par contre, mais c'est quand même étrange. Vous pensez que c'est un problème de manette, ou juste quelque chose qui sera réglé par une mise jour ?

    Unboxed my Series X in October. Stick drift within a month. My Xbox 360 Elite controller still works flawlessly after nearly 15 years.

    The new controllers are garbage.

    What going on with Xbox series x controllers?

    The first thing I did was update my controller and it's still drifting on the y axis. The Xbox controller that I use for my pc that I got 7 years ago works. My 360 controllers works. The series x controller, 1.5 years old, drifts like crazy. Just outta warranty, funny how that works. 😜

    I have seen loads and loads of posts about stick drift on a lot of new controllers, not just elite.

    Best thing is i have three xbox one s controllers, all with drift on the left thumbstick, seems to be an issue when you click it in repeatedly for running in games it then gets drift very quickly. (mainly drifting up)

    I bought a power A controller with two rear buttons and low and behold no drift even after three months of use.

    I would avoid Xbox Series X/S controllers. My first controller that came with my Series X developed that same issue. After ignoring it for a while (because I play shooters where "A" jumps once) it developed a stick drift. It was internal, and had nothing to do with the actually stick, I later found out. Then every button started double pressing, triple pressing. After figuring out I couldn't get it replaced, I disassembled it and made sure everything was clean and clicked into place. It was. Just blew through ANOTHER Series XS controller after less than 4 months. This time my left stick can't reach full velocity when pushed forward, (which has nearly killed me in Resident Evil, like a thousand times).

    So, based on my experience, I can tell you this is very normal for this particular xbox controller.
