Xbox series x controller disconnects every few minutes

I ordered an Xbox series x controller a bit ago to use on my pc but never got around to using it that much because the controller disconnects every few minutes or so, I've never timed so I'm not sure on that end but every once and a while the controller just disconnects and then I have to reconnect it by pressing the Xbox home button. It's not the charge or the batteries since the controller has been recharged and new batteries were put in but no luck.

Chiming in. I have the same issue on win 7. Multiple controllers tested. It is a bug in the driver or something on windows side. Can we just get a patch for the issue. We are not the only one experiencing this and it makes playing games on pc impossible
with controller.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to work your controller to game on your PC.

If it's happening on different PC's then it would more than likely mean that either the adapter or the controller are the problem. If and when you can, I would see if you have the same problem if you try another controller and try the steps bother here on
