    Xbox series x controller disconnecting


    When i am playing on my series x, my series x controller will stop working. The xbox button is still lit, i can hear it off my headset, but cant press any buttons. I have to take batteries out and put them back in for it to work. This is happening quite often. My xbox one controller has had no disconnecting issues on my series x so far. I have tried literally everything to try and fix this issue, talked to MULTIPLE xbox support agents, scoured reddit and forums and nothing has fixed it. My husband got an xbox at the same time as me and has had no issue. The only difference between me and him, is he is on a 1080p 144hz(not sure exact number) monitor and I just got a 1440p 144hz monitor. Tonight we switched monitors. I used my xbox and controller on his monitor and he used his xbox and controller on my monitor. I had no issues while playing on his monitor while his controller on my monitor kept disconnecting while playing Cod: vangaurd. We have many friends who have series x and none of them have this issue. They also have 1080p monitors. So I'm curious what the specs of other people's monitors are that are having this issue? I'm also curious if it could even be possible that the monitor is the issue? We will be testing it more but this is the best I've got so far.

    Vanguard Controller issue ...

    Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

    Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

    I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

    I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

    I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

    Is your Xbox 360 or Xbox One/Series S/X controller? Currently, your controller does not turn on at all even disconnected from your PC?

    Xbox Series X (Maybe One/One X too) stops recording when controller disconnects

    Thank you for the response but my controller is completely up to date. It actually just happened for the first time again with the xbox one x controller I was using. I think it's built in to the xbox series x/one x/one to stop recording if the controller is disconnected which causes this issue and makes the footage unusable. Not sure if you have a fix for that in particular but if not it seems it will continue to be an issue.

    I am sorry your facing an issue with the Series X.
    Can you confirm whether it is the controller not connecting to the Series X or the Series X not connecting to the TV?
    Hi jemi thanks for replying sorry for the delay in answering the controller x box series x worked for some time it disconnected a few times then it started to disconnect often practically every time I used it it was not used with the pc and it is unacceptable that things like this happen to me in 2022 it has already happened to me with the x box one 2 times sent for assistance with the x series it no longer works even with the original cable I think you should try to solve the problem once for all maybe redesigning new controllers but this time with a new technology I would be willing to buy it even out of warranty thanks to you soon

    When will the Xbox Series X Controller Firmware get fixed?

    I'm playing on a PC, this isn't a Forza issue, it's a Windows/Firmware/Compatibility issue, the controller disconnects even if i'm not in any games.
    A lot of people have this issues on PC, for some it works fine in some games, and in others it keeps getting disconnected, and for most it just disconnects regardless of game or not.

    It's been an issue since Xbox One controllers, and day Series X
