    Xbox Series X controller bumper rapidly presses itself.


    Whenever I'm using my controller, my left bumper rapidly presses itself. I tried rubbing Isopropyl alcohol on the controller, but still presses itself. Any tips on how to fix it?

    Try this procedure, hope it helps: Plug the power cord back into your Xbox Series X|S; Turn on the control; Press and hold the sync button on your Xbox Series X|S; Press the sync button on the controller until the time it starts flashing rapidly, then release it.

    I had this same exact problem yesterday. My internal storage unit also magically erased itself.

    I have tried formatting the storage device (after disconnecting my external HDD), I've tried the delete system update as well.

    Delete System Update >

    Go to System Settings and select Storage.

    On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Which didn't work.

    My internal hard-drive indicated that there is still data on it.

    Try delete Xbox 360 system update.and try download again.

    - Go to Settings, and then select Storage

    - Highlight Hard Drive

    - On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    - Power cycle Console

    - Then take update.
